Just thought I'd post some of the recent fun we've been having here at the Majordanes Home Office. Nothing fancy, just the facts. :)
SONG INFO:
This song reminds me of the 80's party anthem "I wanna rock and roll all night, and party every day..." put with the new generations laxed out view and mood. I'm pleased to see the idea of a freedom anthem being reborn with a new sense of the next generation and all the glorious details that make them unique. Warning... this song details the pros and cons of serious house parties (drugs, nakedness, wacked out priorities, etc.).

Yep, still working my way toward the draft next month of the MN Roller Girls. They kick my butt three times a week and the other days I just lay recuperating.

I DO have a break next week as I head to KY (Louisville to be exact - shout out to all you KY Streamers!) for the AHEAD conference, but I fear it may result in putting me farther behind.

Plus, there's a whole lotta drinkin' that seems to be a requirement if I end up being a roller girl... so I've been spending some time this summer building up a tolerance of more than one beer (TRUE CONFESSION TIME: I'm a light weight with alcohol)

The boy and I went to our first drive-in of the summer. I posted a few pictures last year of the danes at the drive-in (we bring them to keep us warm as the temps start to drop after sunset), and I'll be posting new ones from this summer as we head back. Speaking of movies, we head out tonight for the midnight showing of the much anticipated Harry Potter 6 and none too soon! We have been staving off the withdrawal with sneak peek clips this whole last week, but we just can't wait any more!

The Majordanes have been soaking up the summer sun every chance they get. The girls have been getting along (knock on wood) quite well lately and Luna helps teach Nene that it is impolite to eat the neighbor - no matter how bite size he may be! She is such a wild girl and protector. We all went to the boy's soccer game last night (yep, it was a Majordanes field trip!), and it was heart breaking but with only me holding the 3 leashes, I just had to say no to the on-lookers who asked to pet them. If Luna or Nene decided they didn't like someone, it would be antics equal to a Three Stooges skit, with me stuck in the middle. And if Nene sees Ava getting attention, the feud begins all over again. A chance I just won't take. Nene did let out one thunderous bark as a large black dog crossed the invisible barrier of 100 yards. Some of you know, she has an amazing bark that would have any adult wetting themselves if faced with the dog attached to it. She doesn't mess around. In fact, I walked them the other morning (2am - after the drive-in) and Nene RARELY detaches her head from my hip during walks. I should get footage as it is quite remarkable. But during that particular walk, she not only left my hip but came forward to stare and growl into a dark area of a nearby yard. I have no idea what was in the shadows, but it wisely stayed put after seeing her as the alternative. She really is a sweet girl - a little wild in her youth - but sweet just the same.
