The danes have been doing what danes do best...
while I have been dealing with stress headaches... Fall is always a time of great energy for me... but I admit I often tap and sap that energy far too quickly! Either way, I am back to work now and will do my best to keep level. Meanwhile the danes nudge in during my computer time and take serious notice when the sites spotlight them as stars. Oh no... after further reviewal... the song "Grab a Dog" was more of a menu selection/instruction for the evening meal of a hobo, but referred to a HOT DOG meal and not the four legged ones spotlighted here on Majordanes. Whew! That was sticky - touch and go for a bit I'd say... I was really going for that zen sort of "hug a dog" stress management thing when I heard it... but I'll go with hot dogs being a survival-type food. I have left it on here as it IS an infectious little ear-worm tune - (translation: catchy bugger), but I switched the tracks so those vegetarian-streamers out there can decide if they WANT to listen to it. The Ghost Dog Theme has elements of gamelan in it - hard to find soothing gamelan.

Hey! If anyone has good "dog songs" - send them my way! - But please refrain from sending the overly explicit rap songs about serious "bend me over" positions >yawn< Been there - done that.

Ava has just one extra signal compared to Luna.

The signal / command looks like the "shhhhh" signal,
the universal finger-to-lips for "quiet down"...
I use it when she is "sitting"
but still so VERY excited and even a little demanding,
wanting her treat NOW. It is during those moments that
I use the "shhh" command.
She has decided that the signal
means to
sit even farther back...
ok.... ? ...hmmmm

So she rolls back on her butt and kicks her legs
out in front of her or to the side...
a little "unlady-like".
It makes me giggle every time!

Here at Majordanes we all
work very hard
at treat time.

that even the boy has to sing for his supper?!
Seriously tight ship around here...

Luna and Ava both have visual cues
for commands like sit, down, up, leave it...
They practice everyday, which is more than
I can say for the boy and his cello.

I do know it CAN'T be comfortable
and she does it WAAAAY too often for it to be considered

What a nut... and to be stared at in this way
can really creepy you out.
