Oh just for fun Streamers, I decided to post Slim Shady (Warning: Explicit Version - sorry, couldn't find the clean one) and the rebuttal from Christina A. - which I was totally unaware of until I went looking! Crackin' on each other, these two earned a pretty penny I'm sure. It feeds nicely into the shy / shady characters I've put together for the photo collection this week, so I hope you enjoy. I also have a friend who named her cat Shady. He was a stray / alley cat, and SHADY was the perfect name for him! I think of him every time I hear Em's version of the song.

UPDATE on third potential for the Majordanes Home Office: We are still waiting to make that connection! The potential third came down with the canine flu and can't meet anyone right now. When she is well, we will head down to visit her. We are hoping for the second week in June, so stay tuned for more info.

In honor of a third possible dane joining the Majordanes home office, THREE DOG NIGHT is our musical selection and theme for the the evening. I am hopeful we will find the right fit for our little pack and make room for one more set of soulful eyes to grace our lives. We were blessed with unexpected wonders when Ava came to us, and as she set the bar pretty high, we will have to remember to grant patience and understanding to the new arrival. It will be a very special dane who finds their way here. Have a wonderful weekend Streamers and a special Memorial Day to all those out there with soldiers in their lives. This week the Majordanes honor Mothers everywhere!
Wow are the puppies out in full force! But that's natural here in MN! Puppies are usually in high demand when spring rolls around. The non-snow seasons dictate house training convenience and Minnesotans jump on the chance, knowing they will have to wait another year if they don't take this one. Puppies of course need their mother for the first 8 weeks of life for socialization reasons. In the dog world, it is the mother that teaches the rules, behaviors, and manners to her pups. Without her, they could be lost for a very long time, or worse, never realize they are dogs at all. And so goes the story of Luna's humble beginnings, but with Ava's tutelage he is well on his way. I love watching them together. We often remark on how we couldn't have predicted the laughter and joy she would bring, nor the advantages to Luna. Now, though many would call me cracked, I will admit I am looking to add one more to the Majordanes pack. In fact, I found one here in Minneapolis and have sent in my info. If she needs a home, ours has been opened for her.
With the prospect of adding one more to the brood, I ask you all to raise a glass Streamers... to the wonders who are Mothers. Have a great crawl!
Well, that was it Streamers! That was the ONE week in MN with FULL sun where it is NOT trying to bake your face off. You blink, you miss it.
ok-Ok-OK... maybe it's not quite THAT bad, but close enough I tell ya! (point in fact... it is currently raining AGAIN, need I say more?)
Well, even though our arena seats are an obstructed view for the big-ball-o-fire show... that's no reason to ignore the blessed warmth that has finally come (albeit at a snail's pace) our way, so tonight's blog is dedicated to the sunshine of life and though we know a cat takes every opportunity to catnap in a sunspot... dogs too seem to elbow their way into the very last patch of it whenever possible.
