The long awaited... Neenee. She just turned one and came up from the Missouri Ozark Rescue.
It was a lovely day for a drive. One of the many sights along the way was this wonderful shot of the windmill horizon. It was like watching dinosaurs lumber along as they spanned both sides of the freeway at several points along the journey. It was more peaceful to see than I can describe.
Below is video of their backyard rounds this morning.
She caught right on to the feeding routine, munched a dog toy or two, learned how to touch the bell on the doorknob to go outside, and has decided that the spot right in front of the fireplace is the softest spot of carpet in the whole house. She even got the stamp of approval from Numa-kitty this morning as he curled up next to her for a nap. Enjoy!

Congratulations!
What a beautiful video. I was impressed to see Neenee watching Luna and Ava going through their routine in the backyard. The novice watching the old pros to see how its done!

Thanks Lonny! She really is a sweetheart and they are getting on amazingly well. They are all sacked out on the floor right now snoozing away! Good to have the pack up to full power... and the house is content.
I hope you have a great day Lonny! Thanks for the well wishes!

Oh Anex! Thanks for coming by to see her! She is doing REALLY well and yep - just watching and learning - super smart. She is catching right on to life here at Majordanes. For example - it is currently NAP time in the living room and she is getting an A for effort!

Thats it ...no saving you now your a goner I had to laugh at Ava standing in the background looking like "uh oh..... wait till daddy sees this" That dog is so cute, such expression. The new one looks so much like the old one.....Ava probably thinks she's just seeing double Congrats on your new addition!!! And I so thought you were going to take one of mine . Have a great M-Day

BiGGie! Are you throwing me a birthday party!? Well, me and the ol man have some birthday festivities to attend to... and crappie-mccraperston if the airline costs have gone threw the roof lately. Keep the party pumping with that hunka-hunka talented DJ man... and I might just be lured to the south!!! Meow! Down childrens... (talking to the dogs)

Misty you're so right - I'm a goner! I know now that I couldn't handle starting from "puppy" with two others. You are my hero living through that woman! Luna was SUCH a handful as a puppy, I felt like I was lucky to get him through that first year. I'm sure you will find wonderful homes for your lot!
We have been working on finding some balance this week. She is doing really well. I expected more craziness, but she is a well balanced pup with some of those impish qualities left over from her puppyhood. She has decided that the spot right in front of the fireplace is the one for her, and Ava has had to wrestle twice for her couch when Neenee has gotten there first.
Today is a visit to the vet and to buy a couch of her very own.

Thanks Bella! I think she'll be just fine here. I'll spend the summer working with her training and getting her in line with the rest of the Majordanes. I thought she would need a lot more attention right off the bat, but she is doing really well so we are happy with the addition.
I have been asked too often about my mental soundness when people find out I have three now, but I stand my ground that three is no worse than two as long as they are balanced and happy together. Those are the most important things.

Miss Lou - you are so kind to send congrats. We are working hard here and the next couple of weeks will help get her settled into the majordanes way of life. We went today to report all information on her to the vet, and she did so well at the pet store and vet office. She was a little timid at first but I made sure to tell people to just give her time and let her come to them. One man at the vet office has just lost his mastiff of 13 years and wanted her to love him so badly. He was patient and eventually she went up and let him pet her. His heart just melted and I think she helped heal just a little part of him. He smiled HUGE and loved her up after her tail came out from between her legs. What a keeper.

Misfits! I almost called you on Saturday (we were just 50 miles north of Kansas City) but I didn't want to get my hopes up and then not get to see you all!
Neeners is doing just great and I will work with her every day on commands and leash / walking so we add to that already stable foundation she came with from St Louis. She really is amazing and cracks us up already over her antics. Very fun. My birthday present and the last to join our little pack here so we are glad she is doing well.
A... I hate to tell you this, but darn-it-all if Jack Johnson isn't a helluva guy. He was super good, chatted with us a while about a few song concepts (Mary: Like, what does that mean to you... I want to interpret your concept... so let's hear it.) Surreal sometimes to meet people you have been listening to non-stop for several weeks, then there they are in front of you. "Hey Jack, I'm Evonne. I'll be working for you tonight." He was easy and calm, told us about how one song came from his little boy noticing how his shadow was able to move faster than him and wanting to know why. You could hear Hawaii drip from his words. Flip flops, t-shirt, and comfy jeans. Man, did I feel over dressed. Next time, I'll know better, but he is for sure "good people." (US prepping and Jack's bus in the background... remind me to tell you later about the episode of the sneaky fan...) Enjoy the pictures and have a great time in Texas! I'll be sending good energy your way! Rock it.
