The long awaited... Neenee. She just turned one and came up from the Missouri Ozark Rescue.

It was a lovely day for a drive.

One of the many sights along the way was this wonderful shot of the windmill horizon. It was like watching dinosaurs lumber along as they spanned both sides of the freeway at several points along the journey. It was more peaceful to see than I can describe.

Below is video of their backyard rounds this morning.

She caught right on to the feeding routine,
munched a dog toy or two, learned how to touch the bell
on the doorknob to go outside, and has decided that the spot right in front of
the fireplace is the softest spot of carpet in the whole house. She
even got the stamp of approval from Numa-kitty this morning as
he curled up next to her for a nap.
